Sallefy
Android music app with playlists, playback, sharing, and deep links.
Sallefy began as a university assignment around core music-app functionality, then expanded into a more complete application with a wider feature set and a stronger product feel.
The work covered Android development, backend integration, UI implementation, and the iterative delivery of increasingly capable releases.
Sallefy was split across three incremental deliveries. The early version focused on login and a song list, the second delivery covered the core playback and playlist experience, and the last one added deeper features such as video support, sharing, and richer integrations.
The team used issue tracking and incremental releases to coordinate delivery.
The Android client connected to a shared API for music, playlists, and user accounts.
Later releases added sharing, deep links, and video support.
